![]() PNOA is committed to providing training for the men and women who enforce the drug laws of Pennsylvania. Our goal is to keep law enforcement officers informed and up to date with the latest information on fighting drugs. PNOA sponsors numerous drug related training seminars throughout the year and the annual PNOA Training Conference and Business Meeting in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Additionally, PNOA co-sponsors the Top Gun Training Program at Fort Indiantown Gap with the Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Pennsylvania National Guard, Pennsylvania District Attorney's Association, Philadelphia Police Department, and the Pittsburgh Police Department. Top Gun is a drug enforcement-training program designed for investigators and prosecutors. The course highlights role playing and initiating a drug investigation from its beginning to the end. No part of the drug investigation is left out. The training provided by the Top Gun Program is as close as one can get to experiencing, "The real thing." Top Gun is regarded as one of the premier drug training programs in the country and the PNOA is proud to be a co-sponsor of such a highly recognized drug investigation program. The Pennsylvania Narcotic Officer's Association strives to inform and enlighten not only our members, but all law enforcement officers. Please take a moment to view and browse through the useful links, training seminars and legal updates on our website. We are all working towards a common goal - fighting drugs. PNOA is dedicated to achieving this goal. I urge you to join us if you have not already. If you have, I encourage you to continue to take advantage of the training, information and opportunities that are available to you through PNOA. "We venture through a door, not knowing what's behind it. We stop the car, not knowing who or what we'll find in it." "We climb the dark stairway, not knowing what is waiting at the top. Nevertheless, we continue and make no excuse to stop." "We are as selfless as they come, the Police Officer has shown, to save the lives of others while neglecting our own." "There are things that I ask when you approach an unknown place and that is to be trained, aware and to be safe." Again, I am honored and eager to serve you all. God Bless and be safe.
