The Pennsylvania Narcotic Officers' Association (PNOA) respects the privacy of everyone who visits pnoa.org. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

You can read every page of this website without giving us any personal information. We do not require registration to browse the site, and we do not use advertising trackers.

We collect personal information only when you choose to send it to us. That happens when you complete a membership application, a Top Gun student application, or a conference registration and payment form, or when you contact us by email, telephone or mail. Depending on the form, the information you provide may include your name, date of birth, home and agency addresses, email address, telephone numbers, job title, agency name, and beneficiary details for the member life insurance policy.

How we use it

We use the information you send us to process and maintain your membership, to administer the member life insurance policy, to register you for training and conferences, to collect dues and fees, and to contact you about PNOA business, training opportunities and events.

We do not sell your information

The PNOA does not sell its membership list. We have stood by this commitment to our members since the inception of the PNOA. Your application will remain confidential.

We share information only where it is necessary to run the association: with the insurance carrier that administers the member life insurance policy, with the agencies co-sponsoring a training program you have registered for, and where we are required to do so by law. Sponsors at Level 1 and Level 2 of the corporate sponsor program receive access to a member agency mailing list, which lists agencies rather than individual members' personal contact details.

Forms and payments handled by other companies

Our application, registration and payment forms are hosted by third-party providers rather than on pnoa.org. When you follow a link to one of those forms, the information you enter is collected and stored by that provider on our behalf, and their own privacy and security practices also apply. We recommend reviewing the provider's privacy policy before submitting a form. We do not process or store payment card details ourselves.

Website hosting and server logs

Like most websites, our web host records standard technical information each time a page is requested, such as the IP address, browser type, date and time, and the page requested. This information is used to keep the site running securely and to understand which pages are useful. We may also use search engine and analytics reports that show aggregate, non-identifying traffic patterns.

Cookies

The pages of pnoa.org do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party form and video services reached from this site may set their own cookies when you use them. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

This website is intended for law enforcement professionals and others working in the legal and judicial system. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
