Instructor:
Robert Almonte, Deputy Chief of Police - El Paso, Texas (retired) / Actively Executive Director Texas Narcotics Officers Association. Robert Almonte rose through the ranks in the El Paso Police Department concentrating most of his career in narcotics enforcement, becoming commander in the Police Department's Narcotics Bureau. He is the founder and president of the Narco-Terriosm Interdiction Training School based in El Paso, Texas and is internationally and nationally recognized as an expert of Mexican Drug Traffickers and the Spiritual World.
Jose Garza, is the current Director of Homeland Security for Kansas City Southern Rail lines assigned to the Joint Terrorism Task Force and Railroad Liaison at the FBI Office in McAllen, Texas. He is recognized as a subject matter expert concerning Drug Trafficking Organization and Gangs associated with the Mexican Cartels.
Overview:
This updated course will familiarize law enforcement officers with different ways that the Mexican drug traffickers involve the "Spiritual World" in their trade for protection from law enforcement and other drug trafficking organizations. Robert Almonte is nationally and internationally recognized as an expert of this subject matter and has gone undercover to fulfill his curriculum to its uppermost potential.
Overview:
This class consists of US-Mexico border issues specifically border violence, drug cartels, alien smuggling, gangs associated with the cartels and cultural aspects involved with the Mexican drug traffickers. The class covers weapons trafficking both national and international, sea ports and rail lines in Mexico being utilized by the cartels. Topics will include how cells within the Mexican Drug Trafficking Organizations are implementing our Northeast section of the U.S.
Overview:
This day of instruction will conclude with an open panel discussion from various agencies in attendance in a cooperative effort of the sharing of intelligence and ideas in the quest to collectively dismantle Mexican DTO's in and around our tri-state area.
